Providence Bans

Those who enter Providence should be mindful of the regional bans listed below.  In addition to these basic rules, there are also general rules to consider and unique KOS rules that may affect you, your corporation, or your alliance mates based upon your behavior while in the region.  While one solo action that is on the list of regional bans may not get you set KOS, repeat offenses may affect your long term ability to operate as a neutral in the region.  If you are being a nuisance to other players or violating one or more of these policies, the system owner may ask you to leave at their discretion.

Capital PVE

Using Capitals for any type of PvE activity is prohibited across Providence (transport is acceptable). Carriers may be used for PVE as of 2016, but use caution and keep aligned out when doing so and warp out for any non blue in system. Dreadnoughts, Supercarriers, and Titans may not be used for PVE.

Deployables

Deployables have unique rules in Providence:
1) Encounter Surveillance Systems (ESS) are prohibited across Providence.
2) Abandoned (unattended for 30 minutes or more) deployables — Mobile Tractor Units (MTUs), Mobile Depots, etc. are prohibited. They provide warp-in spots for Reds, are camped and clutter D-Scan.
3) Static Bubbles used for POS defense or when given special consideration for active mining ops may be left unattended beyond 30 minutes.
4) Use of MTUs in belts is prohibited where the MTU interferes with others’ can-mining or salvaging.

Jump Bridges

All Jump Bridge (JB) POS Towers and privately owned Control Towers will shoot neutrals and losses are not reimbursed.  Verify your standings prior to interacting with the JB.  Neutrals are not allowed near POS and Jump Bridges.

Sites

Leaving sites unfinished is discouraged. If you require assistance, inquire in the diplo channel of the system owner. The first to enter a site and begin shooting rats is entitled to the site unless it has been abandoned for more than 30 minutes.

Cherry picking (mining the best ores and not finishing the rest) is not allowed.

Anchoring Structures

Seek permission from the sov system owner in writing prior to anchoring a structure of any kind.  You are not allowed to hang structures without authorization.
